Orlando Fisher House Dedication

The Orlando Fisher House was officially dedicated in front of more than 200 supporters in Lake Nona. The 16-suite comfort home is located on-site at the Orlando VA Medical Center in Lake Nona. Military and veterans’ families will be able to stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving medical treatment.

“Every time veterans and their families walk in the front door of a Fisher House, they hear the voice of the American people saying, ‘Welcome to your home away from home, and most importantly thank you for what you’ve done for our nation,’” said Randy Reeves, the U.S. Under Secretary for Memorial Affairs.

The Orlando Fisher House in Lake Nona is one of more than 70 comfort homes throughout the United States built by the Fisher House Foundation.
