Lake Nona’s 2,000-square-foot Dockside venue adds a variety of new upgrades.

New signage isn’t the only fresh features to transform the 2,000-square-foot venue that has served as the backdrop for countless parties, weddings, showers, and meetings since opening in 2016.
The event space has been enhanced from the inside out with new technology, lighting and AV equipment, smart windows, a greenroom renovation, and refreshed bathrooms.
Upgraded audio visuals include two new 4K laser projectors integrated into the intelligent venue software system that now accommodates wireless connectivity for Apple and PC users. A new custom LED light bar creates a cascade of colorful lighting effects that can be customized to pulse to the beat of music.
Dockside features the same stunning views of the sunset over the water, now with View Smart Windows that can transition from clear to opaque in a matter of minutes. The smart technology also creates a shading effect throughout the day that automatically tints in response to outdoor conditions, removing the need for blinds and improving energy efficiency.
Eight modern chandeliers, once a beautiful shade of red, are now a classic cream to complement the color pallet you desire for your special event. These coupled with beautiful hardwood floors, exposed duct ceiling, and brick wall give our venue a rustic industrial design that extends to the greenroom.
The greenroom went from a carpeted contemporary design to a hardwood, nautical-inspired space with a light and airy flow giving a nod to the venue’s namesake. The greenroom redesign includes a beaded chandelier, furniture by Restoration Hardware and hand-selected décor that transports you to the lush Florida coast.
The refreshed bathrooms also feature a Floridian inspired nautical theme with new light sconces and more. We also installed foot pulls that allow you to use your foot to open the door after washing your hands.
