April 15, 2021

Towering above the heart of our city center and entertainment district, Lake Nona Wave Hotel is taking shape – a shape designed to mimic energy in motion. Designed by Arquitectonica, the hotel’s dramatic design is inspired by verticality and movement.

When the hotel opens this fall, luxury will be illuminated throughout including its 234 guestrooms, featuring 18 suites, where you’ll find the latest smart room technology for lighting, temperature control, and entertainment.

The Wave Hotel showcases a collection of excellence in hospitality and intentionally brilliant design that will echo the energy of our community’s urban core in the Lake Nona Town Center. The hotel’s stylish, smart, and social feel will flow from its sleek exterior featuring smart window technology from View to its living room-style lobby and all the way up to a pair of elegant and comfortable Penthouse Suites.

“Our goal is a building whose architecture represents the aspirations of this new town: fresh, vibrant, memorable, and of its place,” said Arquitectonica principal Bernardo Fort-Brescia.

A day at the Wave Hotel will encourage you to bring your laptop down to the living room-style lobby inspired by an eclectic art gallery with intimate seating areas, shared workspaces, a cocktail bar, and more. A stadium staircase will lead you up to a luxurious lounge and signature dining experience overlooking the Town Center Plaza – an engaging outdoor space featuring signature artwork and spaces to relax in the shade. The hotel will also feature a posh pool deck, Technogym-powered fitness center, and outdoor yoga terrace. Guests looking to take their work-out to the next level will have access to the state-of-the-art facilities and group fitness classes at the Lake Nona Performance Club.

The 17-story hotel will be managed by an award-winning team already excited to join our Lake Nona community.

‘‘I am thrilled to be a part of bringing the Lake Nona Wave Hotel to life,” said Wave Hotel General Manager Suzie Yang. “I can’t wait for Lake Nona residents to step through the doors into our Living Room and experience the all we have to offer and perhaps a few surprises later this year.’’

Since its topping off ceremony in 2020, we’ve been leaning into the last waves of construction and design work to bring our tallest structure to life in Lake Nona later this year.
