Forget everything you know about gyms: The 130,000-square-foot Lake Nona Performance Club (LNPC) is a fitness center experience like no other.

When complete in July 2021 at the Lake Nona Town Center, the building will house a destination-worthy athletic facility that combines the highest quality fitness equipment, top-class programming and expert guidance to ensure that “members exceed their individual goals and achieve peak performance,” as the club’s Executive Director, Jay Groves, told the Orlando Business Journal.

As Lake Nona seeks to redefine what a balanced lifestyle looks like in the 21st century, the LNPC will serve as a guidepost for a new standard of healthy living and harmony between mind and body.

The Lake Nona Performance Club is intended to serve all ages and all fitness levels — not just elite athletes, though they’ll find themselves at home there, too.

The Kids Zone features supervised, curriculum-based wellness programs designed especially for little ones. More than 100 weekly exercises classes will spread across six studios, helmed by experts in mind-body connection and specific fitness specialties. Additionally, a 15,000-square-foot sports and high-performance club will push the limits of athletic achievement.

The staff at Lake Nona Performance Club are uniquely qualified in their areas of fitness and health, going beyond fitness trainers to also include rehab specialists and physicians. Integrative medicine also finds a place at LNPC, with on-site restorative suites with professional massage therapists and acupuncturists.

Beyond exercise, the Lake Nona Performance Club’s locker room is a place to decompress, with towel service, plus a sauna and steam room. Refuel your body with curated culinary options at the cafe, and charge your mind with ideas for healthy cooking at the wellness education conference and community room with demonstration kitchen.

In February 2018, Lake Nona announced its joint-venture partnership with Integrated Wellness Partners, the leading provider of comprehensive health and wellness services, and Signet, LLC. This partnership aims to move the ticker leaps forward in the area of whole-person care, demonstrating to Lake Nona Performance Club members a balanced approach to wellbeing.
