It’s time to break out the red, white and blue, start baking grandma’s apple pie, and light the sparklers for Lake Nona’s annual Fourth of July celebration!
In 2022, we celebrated with a carnival-style event packed with activities and entertainment for the whole family. The party took over the entire Town Center from finger-licking barbecue and a rockin’ selection of live music at Boxi Park to a classic line-up of carnival snacks and old-fashioned games that spilled out into the street. It was easy to see all the activity at the top of this year’s jumbo slide before racing down to join the fun.
Kids of all ages got their faces painted with colorful patriotic designs or got their own American eagle balloon animal as sky-high stilt walkers and jugglers entertained the crowd.
As the sun set, a live DJ got everyone moving with a selection of all-American tunes accompanied by larger-than-life music videos playing live on the The Beacon!
The highlight of the evening arrived at 8:20 p.m. sharp, as the Patriotic Parachute team descended into the Lake Nona Town Center with the Wave Hotel beaming in red, white and blue in the background. The team landed near Boxi Park in front of cheering crowds before stopping to take photos with everyone.
