Winter Wonderland Destination in Lake NonaWednesday, November 14th 2018
Everything we love most about the holiday season is arriving in Lake Nona Town Center, wrapped up in a bow – with snow. Grab your calendar and make plans to join us for Lake Nona’s Holiday Festival beginning December 8 through December 30.
Lake Nona’s inaugural holiday festival will be filled with festive events for the whole family – including a skating rink, live entertainment, occasional snow falls, festive food and drink options, classic holiday movies, and jolly appearances from Santa Claus.
Lake Nona Town Center will transform into a true winter wonderland featuring Christmas trees, lights, special holiday programming for Lake Nona’s five-story interactive landmark, The Beacon, and a mailbox for letters to Santa.
The festive fun doesn’t stop there. Live performances from holiday carolers, classic mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and occasional pine-scented snow flurries will add to the fully decked-out holiday experience.
Plan to join us for themed weekend nights with special programming that will bring the movies to life with unique activations and experiences based on each week’s featured movie. Movie night activities will begin at 5:00 p.m. and last until 9 p.m. The featured film will begin at 7 p.m. on movie nights:
– Saturday, Dec. 8: “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
– Friday, Dec. 14: “Home Alone”
– Friday, Dec. 21: “The Polar Express”
– Friday, Dec. 28: “Frozen”
Santa Claus will make appearances during movie nights from 5 – 9 p.m. Families are welcome to take photos on their own or opt for professional shots with the on-site photographer.
Lake Nona’s Holiday Festival will be open Thursday-Sunday from 3 – 10 p.m. in Lake Nona Town Center.
