A Festive and four-legged friendly Saturday in Lake NonaThursday, December 12th 2019
We’ve got two reasons to dust off your ugly sweaters – and the dog’s too.
On Saturday, December 14, visitors from the North Pole are swooping into Crescent Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m for Lake Nona’s annual Rein Dog Run. Dress up your dog (or family member of your choice) for a holiday parade around the park. Watch a performance of the Nutcracker at 12:30 p.m. by local dancers from Rhapsody Baton and Dance. There will be carolers, photo opportunities with real reindeer and more!
After the Rein Dog Run, stop by Boxi Park to celebrate Doggy Ugly Sweater Day where there will be an ugly sweater contest for our furry friends at 3 p.m. While you’re there, don’t miss Lake Nona’s winter wonderland, Oh What Fun! Just steps from Boxi Park is Lake Nona’s Oh What Fun! skating rink. Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and dipped waffles, strolling carolers and everything we love most about the holidays.
